ABOUT

Meredith enjoys experimenting with various painting techniques. She often uses acrylic paints and enjoys creating texture through brushstrokes, layering, and palette knife techniques. She also incorporates elements of abstraction and realism in her paintings.

Meredith has been passionate about painting for as long as she can remember. It has helped her navigate difficult periods in her life and was a crucial safety net when she was recently diagnosed with neurodiversity. Art can be incredibly beneficial for individuals with ADHD and autism as it provides a creative outlet for self-expression and can help improve focus and concentration. Artistic activities can also promote relaxation, reduce anxiety, and enhance communication skills. Plus, art allows individuals to showcase their unique perspectives and talents. It's a wonderful way to embrace and celebrate their strengths!

Art can be a powerful tool in healing from Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). It allows individuals to express and process their emotions safely and creatively. Art therapy can help individuals explore and understand their trauma, reduce anxiety and stress, and promote self-discovery and self-empowerment. It's a beautiful way to support healing and growth.

Music is an essential component of Meredith's artwork, and she creates a unique playlist for each piece. This helps Meredith to become completely absorbed in the creative process and establish an intimate connection with each artwork. We strongly recommend that you listen to the respective playlist while browsing through Meredith's art gallery. Hit the tape for tunes.
